– A Bridge Between KASA and the Public– KASA and BIGBANG to Send Public Dreams and Messages into Space Aboard Nuri Rocket’s 5th Launch
The Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA, Administrator Taeseog Oh) announced on August 14 (KST) that it has appointed K-pop group BIGBANG as its first honorary ambassadors to raise public interest and build support for Korea’s aerospace development.
KASA will work with BIGBANG to communicate its vision, key policies, and programs to the public in a more accessible way and strengthen public engagement. The agency plans to carry out various communication initiatives to encourage greater public participation and support for major upcoming programs, including the 5th launch of the Nuri Rocket and lunar exploration missions. As part of these efforts, KASA’s “Dream Capsule Project” will send the dreams and messages of the public into space aboard the 5th launch of the Nuri Rocket, scheduled for the second half of this year.
