The Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA), headed by Administrator Youngbin Yoon, announced that it will co-host the Korea-Czech Aerospace Cooperation Forum with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Korea and the Czech Ministry of Transport from April 9 to April 10, 2025, in Seoul and Daejeon.

This forum brings together 10 institutions and companies from the Czech Republic and 14 from Korea, with the aim of establishing practical cooperation in the field of aerospace between the two countries.

Czech participants include: Ministry of Transport, Czech Space Alliance, UDX.aero, World From Space, Brno Space Cluster, Inpraise Systems, Zaitra, Czech Technical University in Prague, HiLASE, and ESC Aerospace.
Korean participants include: KASA, Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), Hanwha Aerospace, LIG Nex1, Satrec Initiative, Genohco, Cosmo Bee, DURATEK, INNOSPACE, TelePIX, Nara Space, Vitzro Tech, and Sam Jeong Automation.

On April 9, the first day of the forum, a technology exchange session will feature presentations from both Korean and Czech companies, showcasing their expertise in satellite development, launch vehicles, image analysis, and related services. This will be followed by business meetings where participating companies will engage in in-depth discussions to identify areas of mutual cooperation.

On April 10, a director-general level meeting will take place to discuss the groundwork for a future Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), potential personnel exchanges, and possible visits by Korean companies to the Czech Republic−laying the foundation for expanded collaboration.

The Czech delegation will also visit leading Korean aerospace facilities to observe Korea’s technological progress and explore potential areas for future collaboration.

Site visits will include: KARI, LIG Nex1, Satrec Initiative, TelePIX, and Nara Space.

Vice Administrator Rho Kyungwon of KASA remarked, “Aerospace is no longer merely a field of curiosity and research−it is a strategic domain that will shape the future of humanity. We hope this exchange will serve as a stepping stone toward deeper and more concrete cooperation between Korea and the Czech Republic.”
